Bob Johnson
NFL High School Coach
of the
Year 2010

Mission Viejo Coach Bob Johnson has been named the NFL
high school football coach of the year on Jan. 28, 2010. He guided
Mission Viejo to an undefeated regular season and recaptured the
South Coast league title. The Mission Viejo's football program will
receive a $10,000 grant from the NFL Youth Football Fund. The
longtime coach was nominated by New York Jets quarterback and
Mission Viejo graduate Mark Sanchez. The NFL created the award in
1995 to honor coaches who made a positive impact on the athletic and
personal development of NFL players.

Mark Sanchez attended Mission Viejo High School and was trained by
the renowned quarterback coaches Bob Johnson and Bret Johnson. Both
